A Place to Sew

This is my new sewing area. Also located in the home office area. The quilt on the table is one I have been working on for a while. My mom gave me the top and I am fusing it together into a home made quilt. But what makes this (sorta ugly) quilt really special to me is the fact that one of the inner layers is a blanket my grandma (she passed away almost 15 years ago) made me when I was little. I always loved it because it was so heavy that it kept me toasty warm in the winter time. I really loved that blanket and so I decided to put it back into use as soon as I get the blanket done.
