I got this huge legal filing cabinet too to help make the room less cluttered with all of our boxes of tax information and billing statements that I usually hang on to for a while. Just in case. This is my new sewing area. Also located in the home office area. The quilt on the table is one I have been working on for a while. My mom gave me the top and I am fusing it together into a home made quilt. But what makes this (sorta ugly) quilt really special to me is the fact that one of the inner layers is a blanket my grandma (she passed away almost 15 years ago) made me when I was little. This is my window view from my desk. If you look at the shadow cast on the wall outside the door you will see the imfamous Corn Dog. Corn Dog only shows himself in the Autumn/Winter months. But the first time I saw him I said to myself, "That looks like a corndog sitting on a park bench." Then I laughed to myself. When the shadow is being cast at a particular angle it looks like Corn dog has a girlfriend sitting beside him. That is Mirage in her packing up the office outfit. She said she has never been to New Jersy but her shirt seems to know better and tells us all she loves it there. Go figure. Tristian and I went to get a Thickburger. Well HE got a thickburger. I guess I am not MAN enough for a thickburger and had to go with the smaller $6 Burger. Anyways, this huge rainbow came into site behind the drive through. It was really alot bigger than it appears in this picture because of my lack of zoom. Rainbows are hard to come by so you know I was glad I was sporting my camera in my purse. I caught Amelie doing this yesterday. Tristian had just went outside and left her in the house. She walked from the foyer to the livngroom. Jumped up onto the couch, stuck her nose between the blinds and the window and just looked out. I had no idea she had been watching us as we leave everday. How cute. She's so smart! THAT'S MY BABY! This is our fish tank in our foyer. The lighting isn't so great but you get the idea. None of the fish are named except one. There is a gold fish with black edging on his fins.
